The Apple Map and the 2023 Satellite Street View are fully synchronized and dragging the marker or changing the zoom level on one will automatically rearrange the other accordingly.

In addition to our Street View car and trekker, we're piloting a new camera that will fully roll out next year to help us collect high-quality images in more places. This new camera takes all the power, resolution and processing capabilities that we've built into an entire Street View car, and shrinks it down into an ultra-transportable camera system that's roughly the size of a house cat. But unlike house cats, it's ready to be taken to remote islands, up to the tops of mountains or on a stroll through your local town square.
Vermont Street is tucked away in a pleasant older neighborhood of pretty Victorians and great city views. The trees and shrubbery have grown up around it, so it's harder to get the full view of the whole curve sequence.
Both companies are pushing for better mapping experiences in every respect. Apple wants to bring its beautifully detailed maps with animated trees and buildings to more locations, while Google has its eyes set on creating 3D maps of building interiors.
